The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2025 is Garena’s premier global esports tournament, featuring top teams from Southeast Asia, Brazil, LATAM, MEA, and Pakistan. The competition roadmap includes regional qualifiers from February to October 2025, leading to the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh (July 15–20) and the FFWS Global Finals in Jakarta (October 31 – November 15). With new formats like Champion Rush and intense global rivalries, FFWS 2025 promises high-stakes action and thrilling battles for the world title.

FFWS 2025 Global Finals – Rules & Tournament Format
The “Champion Rush” scoring system, which Garena has implemented for FFWS 2025, is a dynamic format intended to produce thrilling, comeback-driven matches, particularly in the latter rounds.
This is an outline of how the competition will be run:
Knockout Stage
- 18 teams divided into 3 groups (6 teams per group). Each group plays 12 matches
- Top 12 teams qualify for Point Rush
Point Rush
- Qualified 12 teams play 6 matches to earn head-start points for the Grand Finals.
- Higher ranks get more bonus points.
Grand Finals
- Champion Rush format applied across up to 8 matches.
- Unique scoring victory condition.
