The Esports World Cup brings thousands of fans and players from around the world to Riyadh.

The 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, brought together over 2,000 top players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries to compete in 25 tournaments over 24 gaming titles. The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) started its first-ever fan program to improve the experience for fans. This initiative gave dedicated fans the chance to see the action live in Riyadh.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) says that the program makes all trip arrangements, gives select fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access, and lets them meet and greet players. Aysel Ahmadova runs the program, which aims to improve the event’s atmosphere and make cultural exchange more engaging. The EWCF worked with 44 esports clubs to set up global campaigns and competitions to determine participation. This way, loyal fans could cheer for their teams while representing their communities at the heart of the tournament.
